Software, sites and systems, built to a fixed price.

I kept the servers running at Microsoft and Meta, then built and now run a marketplace of vetted IT professionals. You tell me what you need. I scope it, price it before anything starts, and put a background-checked specialist on it.

Zoom, Google Meet or phone — your pick. Or email muhsinbrickhouse@brickhouse.systems.

Builds

Things that get built.

These are quoted rather than listed, because a website or a custom tool cannot be priced honestly off a menu. What does not change is that the number is agreed in writing before any work starts.

BLD-01Deepest bench

Websites & web applications

Marketing sites, online stores, customer portals, booking and member systems. Design through launch, with hosting and DNS handled rather than handed to you.

BLD-02Deepest bench

Custom software & integrations

Internal tools, APIs, two systems that need to talk to each other, and the weekly process somebody is currently doing by hand in a spreadsheet.

Get it scoped
BLD-03

Data, reporting & automation

Getting the numbers out of the systems you already pay for and into something you can read, refreshed without anyone remembering to do it.

Infrastructure & networks

Servers, cloud environments, migrations, office networks, and the things that fall over at three in the morning. This is the line I run myself.

How it is delivered

Who actually does the work.

I am one person, and I am not going to pretend otherwise. What I have instead is a vetted bench and the infrastructure to run it — which is worth more to you than a staff page would be.

I scope it
You talk to me, not a salesperson. I write the scope, the milestones and the number, and nothing begins until you have agreed to all three.
Specialists build it
The work is delivered by identity-verified, background-checked professionals sourced through ScriptyPointer, the marketplace I built and run. When a job needs a skill I do not have, I hire it instead of improvising it.
Money moves in stages
Payment is held in escrow and released milestone by milestone as each piece is finished, never as one lump sum at the start.
One person accountable
You deal with me from the first call to the last handover. If something is wrong it is mine to fix — you are not chasing a contractor you never hired.

Fixed price

Smaller jobs, priced on this page.

Anything on this list has a number next to it and does not need a call to find out what it costs. Larger builds are quoted — same rule, the price is still agreed before work starts.

Cloud infrastructure & backend systems

Datacenter and cloud practice, pointed at whatever is costing you money or waking you up at night.

INF-01Async

$499

Cloud architecture & cost reduction audit

Resource sprawl, oversized instances, orphaned storage and identity configuration, reviewed and costed.

INF-02Async

$650

API & database performance review

Query bottlenecks, indexing, latency and REST API architecture, with the specific changes that fix them.

INF-0345-minute live session

$250

Rapid technical triage

Screen-share diagnosis of a critical bug, a failed deploy or an infrastructure blocker. Same or next day.

New business technical setup

Starting something. You do not need a strategy consultant — you need the technical side to exist and work.

NEW-015 business days

$600

Online and taking payments

Domain, business email, a real website, Stripe checkout and analytics — set up, connected and handed over working.

NEW-02Async

$400

Build vs buy review

You describe the idea. I tell you what has to be custom, what to buy off the shelf instead, and what it costs to run every month.

NEW-03Fixed scope

$300

Local presence setup

Google Business Profile, maps and directory listings, and a review request flow that actually gets used.

Paid acquisition & conversion tracking

The two things most small accounts are missing: campaigns built on intent instead of reach, and tracking that can tell you what actually worked.

ADS-0248-hour turnaround

$750

High-intent search campaign setup

Exact and phrase match campaigns built end to end: negative keyword banks, ad copy and bidding strategy.

ADS-03Fixed scope

$450

End-to-end conversion tracking

Google Tag Manager, server-side conversion webhooks, Stripe and checkout events, GA4 goals.

Sprints & retainers

For work that does not end after one delivery.

RET-01Per day

$1,250

Dedicated sprint day

Six focused hours of backend development, Azure deployment or tracking integration. Booked as a block.

RET-03Per month

$1,100

Infrastructure retainer

Ongoing backend maintenance, server and uptime monitoring, patching and incident response.

Refunds

If it is not worth what you paid, you get it back.

You are buying from someone you have not met yet. This is the part that should not require trust.

Audits & reviews
Full refund any time before I send the deliverable. Once it is in your inbox it is yours, so if you change your mind, say so and the money goes back.
Live sessions
Reschedule free, as many times as you need. Full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the slot.
Sprint days
Full refund up to five business days out. Inside five days it is half, because the day is already blocked off.
Retainers
Month to month. Cancel any time and the next month does not bill. The month already in progress is not refunded.

How it works

Three steps.

  1. STEP 1

    Twenty-minute call

You describe what is broken or what is bleeding money. No pitch deck, no discovery phase.

  2. STEP 2

    Fixed quote before anything starts

Scope and price agreed in writing. If it is on the list above, you already know the number.

  3. STEP 3

Delivered in stages, then you approve

Builds are split into milestones, so you see and approve the work in pieces and pay for it the same way. Retainers are month to month and cancel any time.

Background

Where this came from.

Two years on the physical layer of cloud infrastructure — the racks, the power, the incidents at three in the morning. That is where you learn what actually fails, and what a bill is really made of.

Built

Two products, shipped solo.

The fastest way to judge whether someone can build your thing is to look at what they have already built.

ScriptyPointer

On-demand marketplace matching IT professionals to scoped client work.

Built solo, end to end: Stripe escrow with milestone releases and same-day payouts, AI resume parsing and skill matching, identity and background verification, dispute resolution. Live with users on both sides.

Scripty

Azure cost optimization and cloud hygiene platform.

Detects unused and over-provisioned resources, recommends safe optimizations and applies them with a rollback path. Built from watching ghost costs accumulate in production environments.
